The World Music Market is primarily the project of Lyle Stacpoole of Stacpoole Music & Internet and Hayden Stacpoole of Soulcore Music. Having many years experience in music, small business, marketing and even the banking sector, Lyle saw the need to establish a help line on the Internet for other musicians to benefit from the research he has had to do to get his own music written, recorded and online. With help from his son and fellow songwriter and recording artist, Hayden, Lyle has set up this site as a source of help for other artists and songwriters looking to create, record and sell their music.

However look now, you can record and even 'produce' your own music recordings on cd with the help of these (sometimes) wonderful things called computers.

Because this is predominantly a non-profit site, we do not have to clutter it with too many advertisements for thingos you do not need as a musician. Nor do we propose that we will index everything that is on the Internet for music. Our purpose is to keep it simple and easy to follow, so that you can find what you need.
