Programs as 'basic', Bill will not like me saying that, as Microsoft Publisher and Word can be a great assett when you are putting together product packing and promotional material
There are a host of other programs, and we will be bringing information about these as time goes, but these two are a good place to start, especially as most people will have them on their computers.

www.microsoft.com - Word 2002 onwards actually has most of the features that Publisher has, but Publisher still has a couple of processes that are useful.

Xara is a company producing some very simple to use but great graphics packages together.
From their 'headline act' Xara Xtreme graphics creator and photo editor, and their Webstyle program that puts together basic packages for a website and Menu Maker, a great tool for creating special looking menu bars, Xara products are easy to use and affordable.
